He is survived by his children Jimmy Trahan of Springfield MA and daughter Susan Lyman of Jacksonville Fl as well as two sisters who still reside in Montana, Eileen Antoinette Trahan Quest and Theresa Ducharme Morigeau. S Marine Corps, he served in Korea attained the rank of Corporal and received the following medals: The Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service /Medal, Navy Occupation Medal, National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal. He remained in the area and this is where he met his wife of 39 years and raised his step children whom he adopted with Gail.

They started their large lovely family December of 1968, having a total of six children. Babe worked over the years at the old Dixon Post and Pole Yard, Head Start and a few other places.
Babe was a great daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her children, Brenda (Rick) Dolence, Christopher “Chris” (Shaylene) Carpentier, Brandi (Chase) Toulou, Ginger (Mike)Drake and Shawn (Sonya) Carpentier; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her half - brother Alfred (Felix) Mc Cullough; half-sister Dawn (Pinky) Clute; as well as many nieces and nephews, in-laws and cousins. Su San Marie Lefthand Dowdall POLSON — Susan Marie Lefthand Dowdall, 60, died of complications of diabetes, which let to heart failure at her home in Finley Point. She graduated from Arlee High School May 1976 receiving post elementary education from Catholic Ursuline’s School than transferring to Arlee Schools graduated to earn her High School diploma.
